Tina Stallard - Watercolor Artist
I have been teaching private lessons to students ages 6 to 75 years of age in the Albuquerque NM area. My focus is on basic drawing techniques, design and color theory. My students work in graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, chalk pastel, watercolor and acrylic. Lessons are typically 1 to 2 hour sessions, once a week. My rate includes all supplies. Contact me for more information on availability and costs.
Workshops / Classes
I have held several workshops on watercolor basics, design, color theory and techniques. Typical class sizes are 8-12 students, and can range from single or several day sessions of 6 hours each. If you are interested in having a workshop for a group of artists, please contact me to make arrangements.
Feb 13, 2020
In this two day workshop you will explore the possibilities of negative space painting in watercolors. We will work on producing beautiful backgrounds (negative space) and pleasing division of spaces. We will also cover correcting or improving negative space with glazes, lifting and stencils.
